ACADEMIA The new capital city of humanity, built beneath Cocoon. Rapid urbanization has taken place under the leadership of the Academy and this highly automated information city stands at the center of a new civilization. But, how many years, how many centuries, must it take to create such a wonder? This is truly a city of the future--brilliant electronic signs, neon lights, aircars whizzing between towering skyscrapers NEW BODHUM. A town constructed on a shore of Gran Pulse by NORA and former residents of Bodhum. Surrounded by nature - it seems an idyllic place to live - the occasional monster encounter expected In 400 years, the town hasn't become more than a seaside, outer laying ton far from the Academia. It's a beautiful seaside town. Every year, they celebrate the village revival with the annual fireworks. They still celebrate it. OERBA This settlement is located in the remote north of Gran Pulse. Crystal sand blanketed the village after the War of Transgression, leaving the surrounding lands barren and lifeless. It is protected land in memory of Vanille and Fang, one is not able to go there unless they plan to bring absolutely no harm to it or face dire consequences. SERENDIPITY. It is a massive casino city that floats in the sky and is filled with minigames such as Chocobo Racing and Slot machines. Try to think of the Golden Saucer from FFVII, but just flying in the sky. It has a night life like no other and it's a fun place to drink, be merry and gamble away! THE VOID BEYOND Inbetween the gateway of time and the Historia Crux is this place of ruins where lost travelers tend to find themselves. It's basically full of pillars, some broken some not and a strange black and white marble flooring. The pillars are aged and there doesn't seem to be much of anything except absolute silence. THE ARCHYLTE STEPPE These vast plains are a playground for Pulse's deadly monsters. They share the land with its original inhabitants, a clan of hunters, who have built themselves a comfortable life on this grand terrain. They have a weather-changing device to keep the weather to their liking so that they may thrive no matter what happens. |
